![]() ![]() Once booted with live, noticed that: no screen tearing, wifi detected, touchpad works (?) - amazing!!! I installed and happy with it. Very unstable system, not happy and I couldn't rely on it. Then found wifi not working and somehow manged it without the bluetooth. So I switch to Debian test and later unstable and touchpad started to work. After Google search, I understand that the touchpad requires at least 5.15 kernel. In last 7-10 days I tried with Debian stable (XFCE) on the new laptop and failed to manage Touchpad (not detected). So I didn't touch the Windows 11, came with preinstalled. My daily driver is Debian (for office HP laptop, old model) and Linux Mint (personal laptop). I left using Windows for more than 6 years (last used Windows 7). I recently purchased Acer Aspire 5 12th Gen laptop A515-57g ![]()
